Studio 801 is Arena Players’ training and community outreach program. It consists of adult classes for those who have a desire to perform. Established to enhance the Arena Players’ unique style and to extend creative arts training and resources to the general public. Directing, acting, stage management, and technical classes are offered.

Donald Owens presently serves as Artistic Director of Arena Players, Inc. Mr. Owens is a chartered member of Ohio Theater Alliance and is past president of the Baltimore Theater Alliance. Refusing to believe in “can’t”, Mr. Owens continues to pursue excellence in the arts.

David is the former Managing Director for Run of the Mill Theater “It’s
Anything But!” Presently, David was the Program Director for The Urban Arts Leadership Program at the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance and a Robert W. Deutsch Foundation Fellow. He is the Creative Director of Motor House. David is on the Executive Board of Arena Players Inc. and serves as Associate Artistic Director for Arena Players Inc.

Marc La Veau, Improvisations
The Art of Improvisation – Classes TBA depending on how many want to take the class.
Marc La Veau is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where he was professionally trained in Theatre Arts and Theatre in Education (TIE). He is one of the founding members of Arts-in-Action, a TIE ensemble, which uses the Arts to address social issues. Mr. La Veau is an Actor, Director, Poet and a published Author. He has performed throughout the Caribbean and the United States. His most recent directorial project was “The Good Body” by Eve Ensler. He has a vast background in theater and improvisation.

Cornell Jones is a well respected acting teaching concentrating on Auditions. How to prepare you to not only present but to become the character.
